These three cycles for voice
and instruments illustrate Srul Irving Glick's art of chamber
music and his gift for setting poetry for the singing voice. Nostalgic
waltzes in the first cycle evoke the lost world of the victims
of the Holocaust. Delicate painting of words in music illustrate
the intense nature lyrics of Richard Outram's "South of North".
The third cycle, draws themes from the ancient Biblical chants
to express the richness of Solomon's love poetry.
